• And of course, we accept Cash, check, or VISA/Mastercard.

About Copayments

Many insurance plans require you to pay a copayment at the time of service. This copayment is required, and we are required by the insurance company to collect it. We usually ask that you pay your copayment prior to your visit with the doctor, since that way when you are done, you don't have to wait for anything. Copayments are generally required for any visit in which you see the doctor. Exceptions are surgery follow-up visits and removal of stitches that we put in. "Nurse visits" for things such as a blood pressure check do not have a copayment for most insurance plans (United is an exception).

About "Out-of Network" Coverage

Out-of-Network coverage varies a great deal, and often has very high deductibles. If you have an insuirance plan that is not one with which we participate, but still want to be seen in the office, we will expect payment at the time of service and we will be happy to bill your plan. If you are eligible for coverage they will then reimburse you directly.
